My Client are embarking on the deployment of Fibre to the Home (FTTH) across twelve cities to 1 million homes by 2021.
Some of what you will be doing will include:
· Identifying, prioritising and briefing a number of systems automation projects that will enable our own city delivery teams and our construction partners to improve their pace and productivity, and to capitalise on the synergies of upscaling
Regularly seeking feedback and ideas from all stakeholders to understand their needs, and to capture opportunities for improving automation
Writing detailed user requirements briefs and working closely with the CityFibre Systems team to implement the agreed solutions.
Identifying and eliminating manual, non-value add processes that could be replaced with automation
Being the expert on what best practice system automation is, and how to drive it out through the supply chain
Supporting the development, test and operational deployment phases of all new systems, and ensuring that they meet the original user requirements
Acting as the operational sponsor for systems automation, and continually championing a culture of continuous improvement
Scanning the industry sector for innovation opportunities and ideas
Reporting on project progress, and tracking delivered benefits against the original briefs
To be successful in this role you'll need:
· Experience of automated systems used in the civils/telecoms environment is highly desirable
Track record of developing and specifying systems requirements in a rapidly growing business, where the migration from manually intensive processes to fully automated processes is necessary to enable efficient growth
Thought leader in systems automation and AI who can translate operational needs into systems requirements
