Carrier and National Partner Manager (Sales Manager)

Head of Wholesale

To develop my Clients Carrier and National partner sales strategy and manage the Sales function to achieve the business and financial objectives of the Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Carrier and National Partners sales strategy in collaboration with other of my Clients sales verticals
  • Develop and deliver sales plans that achieve agreed targets
  • Develop & mature relationships within the communications industry, where these are beneficial to the group
  • Represent the Company and/or Wholesale Channel at conferences and sales or trade events
  • Develop & nurture long-term partner relationships appropriate to the current and future value to the group
  • Create a professional and inspiring sales culture within the team and engender a sales driven culture within the whole organization to identify new service opportunities, retain services and upsell services
  • Lead the development and production of Sales processes, metrics and forecasting to enable management of the Sales Function and provide the ability to demonstrate current, and indicate future performance
  • Work in close partnership with the Marketing function to ensure a seamless approach towards the promotion of the company's products and services
  • Maximize new partner acquisition, new business sales and account management to generate increased revenues and market share
  • Lead, manage and develop a high performing, collaborative sales team that always demonstrates Company core values
  • Recruit, inspire, coach and motivate the managers in the Sales function
  • Monitor and analyze all members of the Sales Function in terms of performance management, skills assessment, behaviors as well as development and career goals
  • Work in a cooperative and collaborative manner with all members of the SMT

Person Specification

Requirements:

Education

  • GCSE Math's & English or Equivalent Degree level or equivalent

Knowledge

  • Good commercial acumen
  • Telecoms Channel Industry Knowledge

Experience

  • Sales strategy development and deployment
  • Demonstrable record of leading a sales function in achieving/exceeding Sales Targets
  • Leading the development of Sales processes, KPI's and forecasts
  • Management of the sales function
  • Track record of developing strong internal and external relationships
  • Channel/B2B Sales
  • Telecom/Data/Network sales
  • Skills
  • Good Communication both written and verbal
