Employment Services Director

£60,000 - £70,000

As the Employment Service Director, you will play a pivotal role in strategically growing and enhancing our employment support services. Your leadership will foster a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for driving strong performance, ensuring that we meet and exceed commissioner-led targets, and leading a team of over 80 dedicated staff across multiple sites to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 80+ staff across multiple sites, ensuring high performance and achievement of programme targets.
• Oversee core services, including IPS in Primary Care, IPS in SMI, and Employment Advisors in Talking Therapies, while ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with commissioners, health providers, and employers to expand our reach and impact.
• Implement and uphold quality assurance standards, safeguarding measures, and robust governance practices.
• Monitor budgets, identify cost efficiencies, and achieve financial goals within agreed parameters.
• Collaborate with Business Development on tendering for new services and retaining existing ones.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and project management abilities, with a proven track record of leading large teams to success.
• Excellent financial management skills, with the ability to monitor budgets and identify efficiencies.
• Effective communicator and public speaker, with strong report writing and marketing capabilities.
• Skilled in building strategic partnerships and influencing key stakeholders.
• Proficient in using technology to enhance service delivery and effectiveness.
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
